The Nyah District Action Group
The Nyah District Action Group is a volunteer organisation serving the community and district.
The Nyah District comprises the townships of Nyah and Nyah West. However the Action Group also encompasses the townships of Vinifera, Wood Wood and Koraleigh.
Nyah is located on the Murray River with Nyah West being established on the railway line.
With the introduction of a railway line, trains became the preferred method of transport, gradually taking over from paddle steamers.
Meetings are held the first Monday of each month at 7pm in the Senior Citizen's rooms in Monash Ave, Nyah West.
